Occupational Health and Safety Policy (OH&S)

It is the policy of Deluxe Freight Systems to set and achieve high standards of health and safety in all work locations and operational areas.

These high standards will be achieved by a working relationship involving the Company, employees and subcontractors.

Commitment and involvement by all stakeholders in the Company health and safety program will enable this to be achieved. A program for the implementation of an OH&S Management System has been implemented and is controlled by procedures, developed in accordance with Quality Management System principles.

The Company supports the establishment of an Occupational Health and Safety consultation process through Toolbox meetings for work based activities. The Company recognises the effectiveness of this process and provides a structured mechanism for feedback to management on OH&S issues primarily in the areas of hazard identification, risk assessment and control leading to accident prevention.

The Company will work towards ensuring the welfare of employees through a responsible and effective accident prevention and rehabilitation program.

The objectives of the Company Occupational Health and Safety Program are:

• To prevent personal and company losses from the occurrence of accidents, injuries and work related illnesses.
• To provide and maintain systems in the work place that are safe and without risk to health.
• To provide training and support to ensure that all employees are trained in the methods of working safely.
• To ensure the Company’s workplaces comply with the current occupational health and safety legislative requirements.
